How should I prepare for the shoot?

Men:

Be sure to be well groomed. Cut your hair the day before. Make sure any facial hair has been trimmed and is the best visual representation of you.  

Women:

We feel even more beautiful after a fresh haircut. Have your stylist give you a fresh cut and blow out. If you wear makeup, wear a little more than you usually do for the photographs. This also helps in post production editing. If you are not sure how much to apply you could always have your makeup professionally done prior to your shoot.

Men and women:

If you color your hair be sure to have a fresh color done prior to your shoot. You wouldn’t want any roots showing in your photos, and this saves time in the post-production edits.

Choose your outfit carefully. Try it on before hand. Make sure it fits properly. Take a couple of selfies in it so you can visually see how it falls on your body in photographs. Your mirror at home is not always the best judgement of outfits. When posing for a photo your clothes will shift. The photo allows you to inspect the outfit a little closer and determine if this is the one for you.

Your clothes should be pressed and wrinkle free.

Get a good night’s sleep if possible. This ensures you look well-rested and gives you additional energy to put your best face forward.

Do I get to choose the photos for processing & finishing? You will be invited to view a gallery with your proofs. Remember these are proofs. They have not been edited yet. Avoid the urge to enlarge your photos on the computer screen. You will see every pore, crevice and wrinkle. Remember these are going on business cards and small items for marketing material. They are not blow up version of you on a poster. Check your photo for angles and facial expressions. The rest is editable.

What if I do not like my photos? Can I do another photo session? We want to be sure that you absolutely love your photos. If you do not and would like to re-shoot your photos, we are happy to do so. Simply pay for another session with our photographer.

I don’t like the outfit I chose for my photo session. What can I do? If you brought another outfit you may switch outfits. If it is 24 hours prior to your session you can reschedule your shoot. If it is after you have been photographed, simply pay for another session with our photographer.

How do I get my photos?

You will be invited to view a gallery with your photos.  You will be able to download those photos to your computer or you may use the free Photo Moments app to download photos and manage galleries directly on your phone or tablets.

When do I get my photos?

I aim to get your galleries completed within 10 business days. You may pay an additional rush fee of $50.00 for a 24 hour turnaround.   

How can I use the photos?

Under our terms, the photos can be used only for your personal and professional use. As the photographer, I retain all ownership of the photos, and the right to use the photos for self -promotion as a photographer.

Terms & Conditions

Scheduling

• Please contact KC Creative Design Photography at 520.302.9569, [email protected] or use the “Contact” form on this website to request an appointment.

• Locations outside of Tucson may be billed for travel expenses and subject to minimum order requirements.  Fees will be established at time of booking appointment.

Payment

• Payment is due at the time of appointment.

• Cash, Check, and Credit Card are accepted. (Credit Cards  will  be subject to an additional 3% fee)

Shoot

• Unless specified, the standard photo shoot will include multiple angles and positions. You may bring props to use in your photo session at no additional charge.

Post Production

• Only the selected photos will be processed for finished delivery.

• Digital photo manipulation (i.e. “enhancements”) is not included in price and will be subject to additional fees.  

Delivery

• You will be invited to view a gallery with your photos.  You will be able to download those photos to your computer or you may use the free Photo Moments app to download photos and manage galleries directly on your phone or tablets.

• Until I have released the image to you in its final form, you may not use or reproduce the image in any way, even with well intentions. Please see our complete copyright notice about reproduction, copying of images and use of proofs.

Cancellation

• If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, please give 24 hours notice.  Appointments not canceled 24 hours prior to scheduled shoot will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Try to keep session times as we do book up in advance.  If you need to cancel, please call us as soon as possible as a courtesy to our other clients and our photographer’s busy schedule.

• If events beyond the Client’s or Photographer’s control, disrupt, delay or cancel the shoot, the affected shoot may be rescheduled without penalty.

• Please note that weather may affect ability to capture distant mountain or city views.  If such views are important to you, please confirm with photographer that she is able to capture due to weather prior to the shoot.  If weather is cloudy or extreme conditions that could produce a reduced quality outcome, photographer in her sole discretion may cancel shoot.
