Having three children of our own we understand the love and joy that a newborn baby brings to family and friends. There is nothing like bringing your new baby home for the first night and holding him/her in your arms as you both fall asleep from exhaustion. KC Creative Design takes a different approach to newborn photo shoot sessions and focuses on making less work for the new parents. We offer a wonderful home studio or we can come to you. No need to shop around and spend money for accessories like bows, hats, ties or tutu’s since we have a large variety of creative props and accessories for your baby. We are always adding to our collection so that every photo shoot can be unique for you and your little one. If you have any props or accessories that you would like to use we welcome that too. You can rest comfortably knowing that before your photo shoot we will clean everything that will come in contact with your precious little one with hypoallergenic baby detergent. You will also be able to order your announcements right from your private and secure gallery
We like to photograph newborn babies about 5-7 days after they are born.
You will receive your final photos 10 business days after selection has been made.
Studio Newborn Photo-shoot Session of $325 (plus tax) includes
- 2.5 hour shoot with professional photographer
- 8 digital Images with basic editing for color, cropping, image sizing and smoothing of skin
- Option of adding additional family members
- Use of our large variety of creative props and accessories for your baby

- Custom online gallery ready within 10 business days from the day payment clears
- Ability to download digital images directly from the website
- Additional time can be secured for $100 per hour
- Additional digital images may be purchased for $20 + tax per image
- The option to purchase all unedited proofs for $75.00 + tax
Lifestyle Newborn Photo-shoot Session are $325.00 plus tax and Includes:
Lifestyle newborn photography is where the baby is in their own home or another location important to the family, not a studio. In lifestyle photography, the baby is photographed in natural settings.
- 2.5 hour shoot with professional photographer
- 10 images with basic editing for color, cropping, image sizing and smoothing of skin
- The option to purchase all unedited proofs for $75.00
- Ability to download digital images directly from the website
- Ability to share portraits or gallery on social media sites
- Additional time can be secured for $100 per hour
- Additional digital edited images may be purchased for $20 per image
- Custom or extensive photograph modifications available for an additional fee.
- All session, hourly, and post production charges are subject to state and local tax and will be included on the invoice.
Payment must be paid in full in order to hold your photo shoot session. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a 50% non refundable charge. Half of the original fee may be applied toward one rescheduled new headshot session.

Newborn tips
Babies often need time adjusting to morning and night. It is often a challenge finding out the best time of day to have a photo shoot…which may change. We have found babies often do better with morning photo shoots. Morning shoots usually offer a better opportunity to get photos of the baby both awake and asleep. Many pictures of newborn babies are taken in their bare skin or just wearing a diaper. Please make sure that before rocking or feeding your baby to sleep, prior to the photo shoot, your baby is wearing just a diaper. Trying to take off PJ’s without waking up your baby can be very challenging. Keep your baby warm with their favorite blanket or two. In our home studio we keep a portable heater available to make sure that your infant stays warm throughout the shoot. If you have one at home it may be a good idea to have it handy since even in the HOT Tucson summer AC can make your home cool to a baby with little or no clothes on :-)
